Description
The wolverine resembles a bear, but is the largest member of the Mustelidae family, which includes badgers, ferrets and otters.
Wolverines are ferocious, and have huge strength for their body size. They are the size of medium dog, but can take down prey many times their size.
They live in cold climates, with thick, oily fur which is resistant to frost. They are dark in color, with a light mask on their face, and a bushy tail.
They have been called the skunk-bear due to scent glands that they use to mark their territory.
